TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGES STARTING SUNDAY, MAY 5, AFFECTING THE WESTBOUND LANE OF 126th STREET AND CROSSING INTERSECTION OF GRAY ROAD

Beginning Sunday, May 5, at noon, the City of Carmel Wastewater Utility will be repairing and improving a critical section of its infrastructure by conducting work on the sanitary sewer line. This crucial maintenance work is primarily located in the westbound lane of 126th Street and crossing the intersection of Gray Road.

-Brookshire Parkway and Charing Cross Road will be blocked where they intersect 126th Street and, therefore, vehicle traffic in Brookshire North and Brookshire Pines will need to enter or exit the sub-division to the north on Main Street or to the east on to Gray Road.

-East-West traffic on 126th Street, as well as North-South traffic on Gray Road, will continue to flow with some minor restrictions.

-For safety purposes, pedestrian traffic will be restricted on the north side of 126th Street while the work is occurring.

-Please note there will be no interruption to water/sewer service throughout the project.

Carmel Utilities plans to complete this project by Friday, May 10, barring any extreme weather conditions which may cause delay.
