Subject: Temporary Change to Residential Trash and Recycling Collection Along the East Side of College Avenue, from I-465 to 106th Street

As part of ongoing improvements to College Avenue, a major road construction project is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 4, 2025. This work will impact access along north-bound College Avenue and will require a temporary change to trash and recycling collection procedures for affected residents.

Effective Monday, August 11, 2025, and continuing until further notice (anticipated through December 2025), all residents along the east side of College Avenue must place their trash and recycling carts on the west side of the street for pickup.

This adjustment is necessary to ensure that sanitation crews can safely and efficiently access and service your carts during the construction period. Please help us maintain timely and uninterrupted waste collection by doing the following:

• Place carts just beyond the west-side curb of College Avenue by 7:00 a.m. on your regular collection day.

• Ensure carts are clearly visible and not blocked by vehicles or construction materials.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to improve the infrastructure along College Avenue. Updates on the construction timeline and any changes to this procedure will be provided as needed.
