Water has been restored to the affected area in west Carmel. There is now a boil advisory in place for that affected area which is bounded by the Hamilton County border to the west, 146th Street to the north, 96th Street to the south and US 31 on the Northeast boundary and College Avenue on the Southeast boundary. Please see the Map. Eastern Carmel was not affected by the outage and is not under a boil advisory.
Bacteriological testing will occur tomorrow morning, August 12th with results expected 24 hours after submission to the lab. Once the results are received, additional information will be posted to Carmel Utilities’ website
