Thank you, Carmel community, for making the 2025 holiday season truly green by recycling holiday lights instead of throwing them away.
Through the November 2025 – mid-January 2026 Holiday Lights Recycling Drive, more than 2.83 tons of used and unwanted lights were collected by White’s Ace Hardware & Garden Center and Carmel Clay Schools.
Since the start of the collaborative program in 2011, more than 21 tons of lights have been recycled and kept out of landfills.
