Community Shred-It & Electronics Recycling Day event set for August 8 (includes bulk item drop-off for Carmel Utilities customers)

Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana hosts the Carmel Community Shred-it & Electronics Recycling Day event, along with a team of organizations including Carmel Police Department, Technology Recyclers, Community SHRED-IT and Carmel Utilities.

All Carmel Utilities customers can participate in the FREE bulk item drop-off. Please bring identification that shows proof of Carmel residency.
Please see below for the bulk items that are NOT accepted at Carmel drop off:
  • Yard Waste
  • Household Hazardous Waste
  • Ammunition
  • Items containing freon (fridges, freezers, AC Units)
  • TV & Computer screens are accepted in the electronics recycling line, but they have a $20 charge per screen.
